Summary of Project:
The house was constructed on a site donated
by the Building Research Establishment BRE
at their main entrance, Garston, north of London.
Pictured
along with Hillary Armstrong MP, the then Minister for Local Government
& Housing, at the official opening in December 1998 is Nicholas
Thompson, Director of Integer.
The house was built to demonstrate how constructional, environmental,
sustainable and technological applications available today can be
used to provide a better home and lifestlye using available technology.
There
were no prototypes or experimental components used in the construction
of the house.
Since
the completion of the Millennium House several Integer developments
have been completed in the UK.

The
house has been recognised as leading the movement to change the
face of construction in the UK, and subsequently has won several
awards, including:
