PROJECTS
Flat 4, 15 Hyde Park Gardens, London. SW2
The Staircase was completly stripped and refurbished, with new balustrades, handrails and treads made to order where existing were missing or damaged

Client:
Private Developer

Summary of Project:
Extensive internal refurbishment of a 3½ storey home within the Hyde Park Conservation Area. Work was carried out whilst the surrounding apartments were fully occupied. The scheme provided our client with 5 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, and separate staff accommodation.

The re-discovered Ceiling, with the later false Ceiling below. One of the most memorable and delightful parts of this scheme was the discovery of an original ceiling complete with exquisite cornice and ceiling rose above a false ceiling. Replacement mouldings were made to replicate areas lost or damaged and the whole room renovated with an elevated reading area accessed via a spiral staircase

The refurbished Library, with original Ceiling reinstatedPicture to the right shows the Library Room completed, with the discovered ceiling, cornice and rose refurbished.

Inappropriate additions to the building were removed, including a small lift, to allow the dwelling to be brought back to it's original splendour, whilst discreetly modernising the facilities through-out.

New Bathroom with his & hers washbasinAn in-house audio entertainment system provides radio and CD's to be heard in any combination of rooms via remote control
