Summary of Project:
This house is located in a designated area of
outstanding natural beauty.
As in all our work the house is designed to take maximum advantage
of its site and the physical features of the locality.
The house is built along the contours of a west facing sloping
site in a copse of silver birch trees. To maintain the natural
setting there is minimum interference with the ground levels and
indigenous flora.
The west elevation is fully glazed with floor to ceiling windows
and there is a timber decked terrace to the south accessible from
the living room.
The house is constructed with a structural steel frame off a brick
base with glass and plywood cladding.
Location:
North of Leith Hill, Surrey.
